Julia Shallcrass
Director Julia Shallcrass is a qualified employment and privacy lawyer with a passion for training.
She brings more than 12 years’ experience as a lawyer, and ability in lecturing in Human Resources for tertiary institutions, to her corporate training.
A thought leader in HR, she is an employment columnist for the New Zealand Herald.
Julia understands the complexity of business and legal issues companies face – including HR, payroll and Holidays Act, performance management and disciplinary issues, business communications, privacy law, and ethics.
Julia knows her stuff, but she also knows how to deliver effective training. Using plain English, she is easy to understand. She presents with empathy and humour and is engaging, fun and friendly. Her participants feel like they can ask her questions, and her answers are clear and concise.
Julia also delivers training through the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand (HRINZ), Brightstar, Otago Southland Employers’ Association (OSEA), and PD Training.
