Skills Taught
Day 1 – communication is key
- Core leadership competencies – how to self-lead, understanding your team and the organisation and the organisations’ processes. What this looks like day-to-day (includes the Circle of Influence model).
- Values-based leadership – know yourself.
- Active listening and being delegated to.
In-between: coaching buddies, journalling.
Day 2 – delegation, relationships and growth
- Delegating
- Relationship building, executive sponsorships and mentorships
- Result-focused actions, adding value. Looking for places to help others, strategy for advancement. Create a plan outline.
- Time management/energy management and attitude!
- Building a growth habit- create a customised growth habit plan
- Takeaways, next steps and closing.
